All aboard Train of FORT. Bonfire Night has come and gone, but we’re keeping the spark alive with loud flavours and letting our ears lead us through the dark.
Ask
What sort of firework are you?
One that whizzes? Crackles? One that booms into existence or quietly fills the sky with soft light? It’s a fun way to check in on everyone's sensory limits and social battery this week.
(Answers may change by Sunday evening.)

Create
Noise that you can taste? Simple!
Pop a big batch of corn, toss it in a little melted butter, divide into bowls, and raid the cupboard for unexpected flavour combos. Garlic, parmesan, sumac? Lime, paprika, cardamom? Or try these certified bangers:
Sugar & Spice
Ground cinnamon, brown sugar, sea salt
Open Sesame
Maple syrup, toasted sesame seeds
Holy Cacao!
Cocoa powder, powdered sugar, chilli

Explore
Long before streetlights and fireworks filled the night sky, we relied on heightened hearing to navigate the dark.
Head out for an early evening stroll, but let your ears pick the route. Rattling leaves in a hedgerow? Steer towards them. A clinking dog tag or an owl's hoot? Follow that instead.

Who can uncover the most sounds hiding in the dark?
Reflect
Fireworks are wild, asymmetrical bursts. So is kids' art.

This week, resist the urge to straighten a line or fix a wonky placement. Stepping back lets their untamed vision shine – showing them creativity never has to be tidy to be brilliant.
Did you know the first fireworks were just bamboo stalks tossed into campfires? Low-tech, high-drama. Whether you're making a racket in the kitchen or tracking animal noises, we hope your weekend is extra bright.

Psst! Share this with someone who eats all the popcorn before the movie even starts.
